Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax had errors this year - Missing a STATE I usually love turbo tax. However this year I was very frustrated. It was not allowing me to efile, it kept flagging a discrepancy on form 2016. It would give me a prompt saying commuting miles + personal miles could not exceed total, which was 3500. No matter what I typed, even if it was 100 for each, or even 0, it would say it was an error and that these two numbers could not exceed the total. I ended up calling the IRS and they told me I had entered it correctly. They suggested I remove form from my efile, then send an ammended form separate. So this is what I had to do. Please correct this. FURTHER, one form that listed the states to choose from Tennessee was not listed!!!!!!! It wasnt a state form, it was for a w-2!!! I had 2 others review the list to make sure I wasnt losing my mind, lol. No, it just was not an available state. Not sure what is happening this year, but that was two mistakes I ran into this year. If I hadnt already spent a few hours entering info I likely would have switched services, and very well may next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Live Argent was amazing! the live agent that helped my on my amended return was a big help. Using the screen share and talking on the phone. He, Kenneth, had walked me through the process and saved me the stress of not knowing how to do it.

It has been amazing to watch the progress of the software, integration with so many other data sources and tracking this over time. So much easier and so consistent! Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was disappointed this time by Turbo Tax I'll have to admit the mistake was probably mine. I thought we had completed the process at the time we had printed the tax return. I had been waiting for abnormally long time to see the direct deposit of State and Federal returns, so went back into Turbo tax and discovered that we had not completed the process. As a result, instead of filing a month early, we have filed a month late. I really wish a couple of weeks prior to 4/15 we had seen an email or text alert "you are almost done filing - check into Turbo Tax now to complete your return and file on time by xx/xx/xxxx . I know you have the information. That's not to say I do not consider Turbo Tax a great and easy to use product. It is, and we will continue to use it to process our taxes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bc when I finished mine and sent it on it don't go My experience was completely shut bc I finished my return for it not to go through but to still be un finished and never sent in like they said if I get lucky get it y'all might keep a customer might loose one
