Easy as always, but when I saw that my student loan interest form (1098) would not get me a larger refund at all and i would have to pay $40 to file it, I wanted to downgrade back to the free version and save the $40. Unfortunately, in order to downgrade back to a cheaper version, Turbo Tax forces you to CLEAR all of the info you have already put in and restart from scratch. Ridiculous and it is so obvious that it is to discourage users from utilizing the FREE version that they advertise so much.

I am a minister and the nuances of a minister's taxes can be difficult to navigate given that we are considered self-employed. However, TT makes the process simple and easy to navigate. I can be confident I am getting the most refund possible without violating IRS rules or falling prey to my own errors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is adequate A few examples of making me wonder how good the software is - 1. after already entering self employment info when I went enter my estimated tax payments the message at the top of the page alerted me that this was not something most folks have done...? Repeated asking the same questions / reviewing each time I logged on, etc.
