Rated 5 out of 5 by from My First Time Filing! This is technically my second time filing with TurboTax, first time didn't go so well but I think it was due to something on my end. This time I decided to be an adult, suck it up and file! I feel so accomplished, like I'm on the path to adulting right...even though I'm 31, anyway...the process was easy, super easy. I especially love the click to upload tax info feature, that was pretty cool.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money, account import broken TurboTax is very expensive for the inconvenience of typing everything in manually anyway. The automatic account import is a massive waste of time. Both signing into a bank or trying to import a CSV or other file, usually errors out and you have to type in everything manually anyway. Huge pain when you have accounts at multiple institutions. Also, when I got to the end and after I paid, TurboTax said it couldn't e-file until I fixed my 1099-B, but it wouldn't tell me where the error was. I wasted another couple of hours deleting all my 1099-B forms and re-importing them to get this stupid software to work. Going elsewhere next year, I can't believe they charge money for this garbage.

The step-by-step process turbo tax uses was extremely helpful and appreciated! I saved money by not having to hire a tax professional and was able to get everything done in a timely manner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Really Works For Me The fact that they don't charge for completing my taxes is awesome. I feel they look at every exemption for my situation and help me to determine if I should just take the standard deduction or itemized deductions is very helpful.
