Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed to carry over info from eTrade eTrade failed to import the cost basis and sale date information for many of the sales on my eTrade 1099-B. So even though I paid for premium, which is supposed to do this automatically, I had to manually enter about 200 numbers. And every time I provided information for one sale, it took me back to the very first page of sales. A large number of the sales were on page 6, which I couldn't simply click on from page 1, because the pages were listed as 1 through 5,...,8---so I had to go to page 5 to get to page 6. And the website was extremely slow. I am extremely dissatisfied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little tough for grad students Filling out taxes through answering questions is very intuitive. The program though is geared towards people with very standard tax setups receiving a w-2 though. People with unusual tax situations struggle dearly with this software, i.e. I am a grad student receiving a stipend that doesn't get reported clearly to the IRS, so it took over two hours to figure out how to report this correctly and pay my taxes through turbotax. It's also very expensive software, and I'll look for alternatives next year because of this financial barrier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Changes and advertising I will try another product next year. Too many advertisements for upgrades. Several functional concerns that were not in previous years. Price: Didn't even attempt to have an area for entering any discounts from businesses or banks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is not as good as it used to be! Asked for AGI (for e-file) . Entered it from 021 return. IRS rejected it! second year ina row wehn I have to file via mail. There has to be a way to get this annoying procedure simplified!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it! TurboTax Premier is a great tool. Intuit has corrected some nuisance errors from past versions, and I appreciate that. While doing taxes is no fun, TurboTax makes it relatively easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from turbo tax needs some improvement When answering the questions on the Maryland return once you answer you should not have to scroll back to next question. The software should do that automatic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Updating Failures This is the most frustrating experience I have had in YEARS!! Your updater software positively SUCKS - my system crashes continuously while trying to update. The only way around this is to uninstall and reinstall. I have done this multiple times now. AND, the online help for manual updating is equally awful. Meaning, it.just.does.not.work. I have invested decades in your product, and this is may be the last time I use it. I have never (until this year) had such a miserable experience.
