Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is great I have used this program for the last 7 years and it always helps and reminds me of the correct input for income and deductions. I can always depend on 2 to 3 hours to complete my return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my bacon !!! i've used TurboTax online for years. This year, I had made an error on the schedule for sale of a primary residence that was going to cost me $14k in capital gains tax that I knew from the code I should not owe. The on-line adviser helped me identify and resolve that error with efficiency and professionalism. Very grateful for this service!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Complicated in comparison to previous years. Not as easy to use as previous Turbo-Tax versions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Getting less streamlined every year It's getting super frustrating the added steps of entering stuff that Intuit already knows, I can believe this is by design.. Some examples... manually having to type in my w2 vs importing from ADP, not remembering what refund payment i got from the gov last year, not remembering any AMT type info from prior years, reentering and re-logging in all my credit card and account info when filing. Super frustrating that they say it's included and yet there's another fee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden fees It says FREE Federal e-file and $25 per state. How insulting that my $59 refund is not big enough to cover the fees. Mind you, we bought the desktop version. After hours of work, they want $45 to buy the program (AGAIN) plus the $25 for the state. What a waste. I'd rather pay a professional than pay Turbo Tax another nickle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is easy until you start to file Filing took longer than doing the forms. What a pain to get all of the information to file.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and Simple to Combat the Dreaded Tax Season Software is very comprehensive under-the-covers. Interface is clean yet provides that deep-dive of information, if needed. Allows for time to secure documents or other information if one is not totally prepared. My only recommendation is to have the software return to the exact location you left off after reviewing prior information in order to quicken completion time (less scrolling).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Service Very easy to use. I like that last year's data shows up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax Makes Filing my Taxes SO MUCH Easier I tried to save money and prepare my taxes myself this year. I just didn't feel confident, given that I'm a senior and my financial life is more complicated. I decided to go back to Turbo Tax, and and it's a good thing I did: I'd made mistakes on my federal return and hadn't even started my state return.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Been a customer for over 20 years I really like Turbotax (I use Turbotax premier). It allows me to process and submit Federal, state and local tax forms reliably. I had a glitch this year which was very frustrating. I tried to e-file the fed and state returns. When I got to the part where I needed to pay $25 to e-file my state form, I could not get into the online payment process. I wasted 4 hours trying everything to make the connection work. All I could do was open a blank page. I then called the number that allows over the phone payment and spent over 45 minutes with one poor soul and we could not get it to accept my info. It wasn't my card. It was that the info i gave was not accepted as supposedly not consistent with what I had in my Turbotax account even though I signed in to my Account and confirmed that it was all correct. Then I lost the connection to the first person and had to call in again. The second lady was a saint and tried to get everything fixed but we could not get Turbotax to accept my $25! I finally gave up and just e-filed the federal return and am mailing in the state return. I am annoyed that the online payment process wasn't working (I never got in). I am annoyed that it would not accept my credit card (the same one I have used to pay in the past and the one linked to my Turbotax account.) The only good thing was that the people answering the phone were very nice and tried hard to fix things. I don't blame them. Let's be sure all this is working next year Turbotax! Alcon50
