Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mathew from Seattle is great. I got a call within 2 mins of me asking for live help and he was patient and walked me through the steps of how to fix my return. Thank you Mathew.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed In Turbo Tax Been using TurboTax for many years now and this time it was absolutely horrible. I will be going elsewhere to get my taxes done next year. So many hoops that I had to jump through this year just to file.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect! Everything was great except I did not find an entry point for Letter 6419 o r 6475 when working through the forms. I checked only self and spouse on Filing Married Joint. Yet, at the review error messages came up about these forms which were quite confusing. Could be a whole lot better in this area. Long time TurboTax Deluxe user and will use again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to file w/o having to buy something It is even difficult to obtain a paper copy of the return. You keep pushing efile and force your client to download Adobe with Mcaffee before it can be printed. I was lucky to get a copy of my state return before even that was blocked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from intuit turbotax.Premier My only concern/issue was that there is evidently a separate TurboTax online from the CD Version. I prefer the CD version (Excellent). Thank you

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TT doesn't handle 1099-Q and 529 plans well TT Premier Federal & State worked well for the usual things: wages, investments, rental properties. It fell completely flat with 1099-Q and our 529 distributions: very painful interview process for college tuition and 529 plans. It eventually got the correct result for the Federal taxes, but our Alabama state taxes kept including the 1099-Q earnings as taxable. The only solution is to manually verify the qualified higher education expenses exceeded the total reported 1099-Q distributions and then NOT input the 1099-Q. If you input the 1099-Q, it always reported the earnings as income on the state return regardless of how you manipulated the other data options. Once I deleted the 1099-Q, the problem was solved. I verified with the AL DOR that I did not have to report 1099-Q as long as the qualified expenses exceeded the distributions. It shouldn't be difficult to add a few questions in the interview and a few lines of code for TT to do this for the user. Other than that, it worked as usual. I've used TT about half the time the last 25 years and H&R Block the other half...all paper returns more than 25 years ago.
