Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grateful for TurboTax Last year I had my taxes filed by a professional tax preparer. Did not have great experience and some items seemed to have been mis-inputed resulting in a penalty from the IRS. I like doing my taxes myself generally, but with a new rental property purchase I was rather overwhelmed. Turbo tax enabled me to overcome these anxieties and file for myself. That being said, I paid for the LIVE support and was rather disappointed. Neither of the two folks I talked to had a clear workflow or understanding of rental properties and write offs and how to input information correctly. I would appreciate specific handlers for future tax preparation who know every detail with how to file correctly for rental properties etc.
