Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax got worse I spent at least 8 hours navigating the maze of Turbotax. Every time I got stonewalled, I ended up returning to another point. Turbotax needs hyperlinks to guide users where they made errors and not just display the form number. Bring back 2022 version (2021 Tax Return) of TurboTax.

I thought it was gonna just be $59 or less from everything but then got charged $127 and currently crying because I can't even afford that right now. So please change it so it tells you your price when putting in card. I don't even know what to do

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misleading I filed with TurboTax because they offered "free" federal and state tax returns. I should have used TaxAct because it would have been cheaper. TurboTax charged me $120 to file just because I was a college student who had educational expenses. That seems backwards to me. Students get breaks everywhere else, even from the IRS, but not from TurboTax. And you can pay using your return, but the fineprint charges you $39 to do that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Up sold me on Deluxe, but I didn't need it. Up sold me on Deluxe, but I didn't need it for my 1099G because there was no state tax. I'm annoyed that the only way to downgrade is to start totally over. Pretty sketchy move.
