Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Premier DID NOT meet my expectations I was a long term user of Turbo Tax until approximately 2017-18 era when TT deluxe unexpectedly quit handling investment details. They graciously allowed a "premium" upgrade free of charge. Being a little "miffed", I started using HR Block software which allowed import of TT data and worked great until last year (2021 tax year) it would not import some of my brokerage data(?) which I "hand entered". So I decide to give TT another shot (Premium) Well this did not import my HR Block data. A support call yielded that the form I used last year (1040-SR) was one that would not import....(!!) If I had know that I probably would have stuck with HRB if I was going to "hand enter" something anyway... I'm a "Season User" but at point where convenience is appreciated. Anyway, not sure what I will use next year (?)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and Helpful EXCEPT for Crypto I've used Turbotax almost every year since I turned 18. It's fast and easy with the only exception being the crypto section. There was no section for BlockFi Credit Card rewards, which should NOT be taxable. I also had to export a CSV and use Excel to manually edit all of my crypto transactions for BlockFi, which really sucked as it was very tedious and time consuming. Hopefully they streamline crypto in the future.

I am just upset that we have to pay a professional to figure out how much tax we owe. It just seems intuitive that any reasonably sentient persons should be able to do this without help.
