Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to find answers & special deductions I've used TurboTax for years. It was pretty easy when my returns were more simple, but now that I own a home and do contract work, I find that it's not as intuitive as it should be. I marked that I own my home, so you'd think that it would ask me if I made any home improvements or whatnot, but it didn't. So I had to dig around to find the home improvement deduction myself. Their help search feature gave me a ton of random answers and then none of them link to where I need to go which makes it more frustrating. The UX on this site definitely needs some updating. Also, I got a million emails saying I'd get 20% off when I filed, but I got less than 10% off. And of course there's no live chat option for anything besides talking to a tax expert, so I had no one to help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Experience This was my first year filing with Turbo Tax! I was very satisfied with my experience. I was filing jointly with my husband, but I am self-employed. Turbo Tax walked me through how to claim all of my deductions to get maximum benefit!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seems theri new program isn't up to the task Had to REVIEW several times before the perjury form populated. Wouldnt allow a REVISIT and EDIT of pay options. Wont count on TT in 2024

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbotax is low cost but not easy to use Turbotax is much cheaper than getting an accountant but it is quite cumbersome to use. It asks you the same questions over and over. When you think you are all done and ready to file, it starts asking you questions again and makes it very hard to fill in the answer. These problems should have been fixed by now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TOO EXPENSIVE NOW FOR USING TURBO TAX IN PREVIOUS YEARS FILING MY TAXES WERE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE. NOW IT COST MORE MONEY THAN IT SHOULD HAVE. I'M ON A FIXED INCOME AND THIS WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED. WILL LOOK INTO ANOTHER FORM OF FILING TAXES
