Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for easy taxes, needs work for anything else I've used turbo tax consistently over the last few tax years without issue, however this year, after engaging in some crypto based sales of NFTs I was greeted with a massive headache blocked at every turn with pay walls for different services in order to make turbo tax work, which, *Spoiler Alert* It didn't, at least not as anticipated. It took me 15 hours to complete my returns due to needing to review well over 500 transactions that were included in my CSV file and should have been readable to turbotax algorithms based on their compliance with the csv format template. Each review require inputting how each nft was acquired, though nothing about if I was the creator, so it was designated as "something else" then I was required to indicate the cost of said asset, clicking continue, waiting for it to load the next page with a check box, clicking continue, load another set of check boxes, and then repeat for the next 500+ reviews. The shear amount of repetitive data input, and user unfriendliness has led me to re-think my future use of this service for my taxes. In short, this service is wonderfully easy for people doing regular taxes, from regular jobs, but if you engage in anything crypto, steer clear of this headache until they figure it out more.
