Also its getting to the point where is it cheaper to pay a professional to do them and not worry about it vs. using your site and doing it myself

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pay via Credit Card If receiving a return I have never been able pay for the audit protection via credit card, there is always "something wrong". I end up paying from my return amount, but then there is another $40 fee so I pay twice for the same thing. This has happened multiple years and I know it is not my login.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Forced Unnecessary Upgrade While I like the ease of use of the website, you're forced to upgrade for no benefit. I already had one form upload with a 1099-B form, which was from a linked account, in my return for the $59 dollar package, but when it came to a company that you can't login to from the TurboTax site, I had to enter everything manually and I was for upgrade to the $119 package. Essentially, I was charged $60 for more inconvenience to myself. I couldn't even upload the document from my computer for a quick review, like what happened with the initial 1099-B form. My return did not change. And of course, once you've selected the upgrade, there's no way to remove it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax would be great if... Turbo tax would would be great if you still didn't use deceptive pricing. I clicked on a deal to get TurboTax premiere for $89 dollars with no max added and it still proceeded to charge me $119 plus whatever state addon was (this extra I understand), but the $30 extra from 89-119 I do not. There is no explanation of the change in price. Absolutely nothing. I'm not sure I will continue with TurboTax moving forward in tax filings. You are most likely going to lose a yearly consistent customer over the deceptive charge and previous years of deceptive charging. I'm absolutely over it.
