Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes Doing Taxes So Much Easier Turbo Tax for years has been my go-to program for doing taxes. Cuts down on time, can almost use without much knowledge of tax laws and policies. A little glitchy on updating my income forms this year, for some reason, was trying to make me check boxes that were not required, and eventually kicked me out of the program. Just deleted them all and started fresh!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extra fees for schedule D The taxes used to be significantly cheaper to file considering you, the taxpayer, are the ones filing. In addition, if you are filing a schedule D that doesn't have any emphasis on your taxes at all you should not have to pay for that. I may choose something else next year if I have to pay for such a basic tax filing again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I sent it 3 times before it was accepted... My return was rejected 3 times by the government, although Turbotax said it was all good. No much indication why it was rejected in the first place, or how to correct it.

Any state or national representative that pushes an elimination of income tax in favor of end use based tax has my support, as of today anyway. There's plenty of room for them to have any socialist leanings, and that support immediately revoked.
