Rated 2 out of 5 by from A necessary evil I've been using TurboTax for several years but it is getting increasingly expensive and almost cost prohibitive over having an accountant prepare my returns. It's actually quite sad I have to pay a third-party (TurboTax) close to two-hundred dollars in order to get MY money back from the IRS. The whole process is way too complicated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worse than last year 1) Too many up-sales 2) TT knows my AGI from last year, why didn't it enter during the e-file stage? It entered this year's AGI and caused a rejection. 3) TT should have the ability to check EIN against payer's name in 1099R but it didn't catch the error which resulted in a rejection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax not as helpful as it once was I was charged 119$ for a self-employed version but not asked about any deductions regarding my personal business. This isnt a problem because I didnt work and self employment last year, but I should not be charged 119$ to do a simple w-2. Never using turbo tax again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is easy, awesome, and not a headache! I used to pay a CPA close to $ 300 to file my taxes. he did the same thing Turbo tax does. for the past two years i have used turbo tax and had excellent results! i am well pleased!
