Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is trying to take my money The software mostly worked well enough. The biggest issue that I had was when I went to pay to file my state return, I had the choice of paying by credit card or paying an additional $40 to pay from my return. Everytime I tried to pay by credit card (tried different cards each multiple times) I would get an error that wouldn't let me pay. Conveniently, TurboTax offers a solution to pay by phone; however, when I called the number, they said they can't actually do that. So after 2 phone calls and almost an hour with customer service, I was told I have to put in "123 Main Street" as my billing address in order to get it to go through because of a "glitch" in the system. Funny, because to me it seems like they are trying to push people to pay the extra $40 to pay from their returns. I wonder how much extra money TurboTax is making from this little "bug" in their system. This is all after my expereince last year where TurboTax double charged me for my state e-file and refused to refund me, so I had to dispute through my credit card. Aside from all of that, the software is fine, but very slow and they have too many click-through screens where they assure us that they are saving us the most possible money (although me thinks the software doth protest too much).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from way too pricey this is a website with some assistance but not worth 182 plus taxes etc. dumb price as you barely get a return for what you paid for this tax service. I will be changing next year. not worth it.

I just can't say, how appreciative I am, of this software, and how it's progressed over the years. It makes my tax returns easy, uncomplicated, and a breeze to do. Thanks TurboTax, see you next year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reduces Tax Anxiety Due to owning an existing business while flogging two startups, I was not looking forward to tax time, but Turbotax has reduced the complex to the simple. I was actually able to finish filing in just over four days, which is good for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely the Most Thorough Tax Service After doing taxes with many other services promising the best and most thorough tax prep, TurboTax was by far the most comprehensive, and wound up saving me $4000+ vs. other services automatic deduction calculations.
