Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax is good, but could be better Turbotax does a lot of things right. I'm not going to talk about them. I'm going to talk about two things Turbotax could do to make things better. 1. The boxes that can be right-clicked to provide supplemental information are very tricky to use. You show last year's information in those boxes when they are right-clicked, but if you type in them directly, last year's information is lost. I use those boxes for helpful notes. You should make all entry boxes able to provide supplemental information and show the boxes that contain information (color change or something like that) before any information is directly added to the box. You should allow supplemental information to be added to all entry boxes in the questionnaire. Any attempt to enter information in a box having information would bring up the supplemental information box. 2. Having the previous year's information show when you are entering information in the questionnaire is great. You should expand that capability. It may be a little tricky but it could be done in a crowded screen by providing a last year button to provide that comparative display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Switched from H&R Block Did H&R block for the past 2 years but this year they asked so many questions and made it really hard. I am self-employed so its a little more tricky to do, I really appreciate how fast and easy turbotax made it.
