Went on irs site and the pin was correct for this yr. Long story short ended up totally redoing a new tax return to be able to file. Turbotax has issues . Ended up paying twice for audit defense so now will have to go thru more hoops to get refund

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
