Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get's the job done.... Have used Turbo Tax for several years. It is nerve racking, but with the many prompts and forms, it gets the job done better than I can without it. One negative, I kept going back to prompts for Schedule B, Part III to change 7a to NO, but it kept saying yes...so I gave up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality has gone down TurboTax use to remember all of your previous forms of income, deductions, etc.; however, the 2021 did not import or remember several things, so there was no advantage to continue using TurboTax vs switching to a new tax prep software. I didn't receive one of my 1099-DIV statements, and without TurboTax reminding me, I didn't remember to include this before filing my taxes and had to file an amendment. The software claims it will not track NOL carry-forward amounts, so I am having to maintain a separate spreadsheet for NOL Carry-forward and Charitable Donations carryover, because I can't rely on TurboTax Software. TurboTax also require you to confirm bank information a second time for state return, after asking if you want to use the same information you just confirmed. It was difficult to find customer service phone number and chat isn't offered either—after calling in, they could not help and said sometimes the software just doesn't import data properly. There are so many hoops to jump through, the software doesn't remember items like it should, and when you need Customer Services, they are not very helpful.
