Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very confusing experience with rental property I entered all of my 1098s when prompted the first time, and I entered my rental property mortage interest when asked about my rental property. And then when I went to file I got an error. It took me hours in chats, and manually reentering my 1098s 3 times to figure out what was wrong. I wasn't supposed to enter the rental 1098s with the first ones the first time, I was supposed to enter the mortgage interest only as a rental expense. This wasn't at all clear and cost me money in paying for extra services, and time.
