Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is so easy! I'm 19 years old and still a dependent of my mom so I am able to do my own taxes with the easy tutorial for FREE!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nearly botched my return this year. I imported my stock transactions and everything looked fine. Later, during a preliminary "review" TurboTax told me to enter in one of the transactions manually. I assumed it wanted to do some kind of data quality check because it only asked for one and moved on. Clearly this wasn't the case.... only at the very end, when I "viewed" my returns right before filing was I able to notice that Turbotax added the transaction that it asked me to manually enter, which caused there to be duplicate data. What I thought was a data quality check was actually adding information to the already synced data. If I hadn't noticed this I would have been telling the IRS I had a $10,000 transaction that never happened. Ultimately I'm glad I caught this, but I should not have had to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works OK but is too expensive Often the section descriptions are not clear or ambiguous, you have to be a tax expert to figure out exactly what it means! Clearly you want a good review, but you are not perfect and one size does not fit all, i will likely look elsewhere next year!
