Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ease of Use I have been using TurboTax for years, but my taxes are pretty straightforward (no business, one W-2, no investments) and the same from year to year. This was the first year I filed as a retired person and I was a little nervous, but again, my life is pretty straightforward and I didn't have any problems filing again using TurboTax. One idea I keep suggesting but I haven't found an answer to it yet is "how do I alphabetize my list of charities?" They are in the order that I added them, which makes it hard to organize my papers/receipts. Also, I wish they didn't delete the charities I didn't contribute to in a given year; maybe I just missed and year and will contribute the following year! I wish there were "Non-Use for this year" and "Permanent Delete" options for the charities.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from discouraged Advised as free federal and state and I ended up paying $150.00 to for a simple federal and state return using the standard deduction system would allow me to go back and take charges off. Did want to go back and reenter info.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and easy to use I’ve been using Turbo Tax for years. I’ve tried to switch companies but it’s the convenience that keeps me coming back, even though the prices are higher but still lower than using another tax service.
