Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo tax is not free but worth it I've used turbo tax for five years now and it has been great because I'm not the most tax savy person. I appreciate the easy to see and read layout. I also appreciate the kind customer service offer through Trubotax live. I just feel like it's a little pricy for someone who doesn't expect a big return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, but then not Year after year, I've used Turbo Tax and had no issues. Last year, I decides to sell some stocks to purchase my first home. Turbo Tax does not adequately prepare a novice like me to prepare my taxes myself. It was way too complicated to understand how to come up with Adjusted Cost Basis or Compensation Income from Sale for ESPP. When I went to Google help, it is way too saturated with different info to help. It seems like something that could be capitalized on by Turbo Tax. I defaulted to a tax expert for now, but in the future I'd like to have the opportunity to save my $400.

I went with Turbo Tax Live Full Service. Susan was a easy to speak with and very professional. She contacted me at the date and time we arranged. Susan answered my questions with specific information and recommendations. Susan had my return prepared within the estimated time she originally gave me. The whole process was fast, efficient and professional.

I appreciate the easy to see and read layout. I also appreciate the kind customer service offer through Trubotax live. I just feel like it's a little pricy for someone who doesn't expect a big return.
