Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Tax Prep, but... Turbo Tax is a very solid tax prep application, however, they try to up-sell you for this and that through out the program. Could have been 5 stars except at the end of the process, when it comes to filing the STATE return, they bury the 'Print for Filing' option deep within a hidden menu in the FEDERAL section. They make that option almost impossible to find so as to frustrate you and to get you to pony-up the $25.00 for e-filing the state return (which in Michigan is actually free, if you use other company's tax programs). So yes, the state form (just one) is free, but you have to pay to e-file it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes dealing with the IRS easy The government loves to complicate simple things, like tax codes. Turbo Tax makes filing all this jumbled up nonsense simple. I've used it for many years and will continue to do so.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax did not prompt me to enter SSA-1099 TurboTax did not prompt me to enter an SSA-1099 for 2021 even though I had one for the previous year. I now have to file an amendment to my 2021 tax return and will have penalty and interest to pay. While I "should have" noticed the lack of a data entry for the value, when TurboTax did its review before submitting it would have been useful for me if it had asked for that "little detail".
