Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Return Ever $29K I am not affiliated or paid by TurboTax for this review. My TurboTax Returns has always been straight-forward for the past 17 years. TurboTax continues to make the filing processes easier and easier. My background is in healthcare and technology, with an emphasis on user interface and experiences. What does that mean? I am very very picky how new and continuing users experience websites. Including simplicity, layout, and if any step is confusing or does not work as expected really bothers me. This year's tax return for me (and my family) was about 10-times more complicated than all other years, due to branching out on my own as an independent contractor. But TurboTax walked me through all the awesome tax advantages that I qualified for. Also, I scheduled a phone consultation through TurboTax and the 30-year veteran Tax Attorney took his time to help me understand several tax strategies that truly made the difference adding an extra $10k of value. Lastly, I will be purchasing QuickBooks online to better organize the mountain of paperwork in 2022 and future years. Mostly to save me an extra 40- hours at the end of 2021 finding every receipt; automate monthly/quarterly tax payments; and finally removing the manual aspect (data entry into a spreadsheet) of all the purchases made. If you think paying for another monthly subscription service is too expensive, distill how much time needed all year to make everything work & then would a tax refund cover it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great experience with TT! I was hesitant using TurboTax this year since I had multi-state returns but picking the Live Premier was amazing. Not only did Stacie stay on the phone with me for 2+hrs on a Sunday evening, she got to the bottom of my state returns and made me feel super comfortable that we did it right and every number made sense. Big props to her sleuthing and asking the right questions-we found a $3K return that I would have missed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is OK I enjoyed using TurboTax, but for future reference; please don't advertise that e-filing your taxes are free. The rates for doing your taxes thru TurboTax are extremely high; especially when you as the consumer are doing the taxes yourself. Don't get me wrong, I am not hating, but I feel the fees should be a bit lower.
