Rated 2 out of 5 by from Couldn't handle an amended return for 2022 Received a K-1 form for my parents estate. Was told by tax person handling the estate taxes that I had 3 years to file amended 2022 return. This was confirmed by IRS website. When I tried to do an amended return and enter the K-1 form, there was no easy way to do this other than by going to "forms" and finding the K-1 form and entering the information. When I got to the filing, it stated it was too late to file amended return electronically and would need to do it via email. It then tried to guide us to filing electronically, and it wanted to have us pay the $4000+ we had on the original form in addition to what we owed due to the amended K-1 return. It went downhill from there.
