Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax slipped some this year. I've been using a form of Turbo Tax for decades. This year I struggled with the wording of some of the questions (not clear) and had to spend extra time Googling the answers. The Help was no help at all. There was no Help listed with the specific item. The Michigan part was the worse--added and extra unnecessary hour to my filing--trying to figure out what the question meant. I even called friends who are tax savvy and they weren't sure. I know that taxes are much simpler in many ways--yet filing is even more complex than ever and that's what drives the questions--trying to find that 1% (or even less) who might have a deduction/credit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from spent too much time hunting I tried to find out how to put in banking info before electronic file. Finally gave up and hit the file button and there it was! I was not happy. There should have been something in my search that told me this. I have noticed in the past that Turbotax makes minor changes each year and sometimes they confuse me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome but many gaps When completing Form 1116, prior year info was not available. And that can be very firstrating. This is the case with some other forms also. It would be good if you go thru each and every form and section and display prior year information alongside. Filling out Form 8938 was similarly very hard and non-intuitive with General and Passive catrgories etc. I also did not find an easy and correct way to enter Foreign taxes paid on Foreign salary income. Lastly, I could not find a way to change from IRS Free Filing to a paid TurboTax product. I had to search on the Internet and find a work around. Why can't you make that easy? I am aghast that you are not paying enough attention to making TurboTax product seamless, easy, and without any such glaring shortcoming. Turbotax has been around for so many years, and yet it has these glaring issues. Very disappointed.
