Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fast, easy and deceiving You have a good product, easy to use but you deceive the user first by always trying to upgrade the service price, secondly by charging for using a credit card and third and most frustrating by NOT allowing for the NYS state payment to be paid for credit card. Also you did not call back when promised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Easy! Why was I nervous? I had 2 W2's. I was able to upload a picture of one of them. TurboTax actually downloaded my 2nd W2 directly from my employer. I just checked for accuracy and all my information on both W2's was correct. Can't get any easier than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than Excellent I had a complicated Federal and State Tax returns in 2021. Even though both were e-filed, some State Tax Forms had to be printed and mailed. TTAX guided me through all the steps starting with getting a waiver from the state to mail those forms and where to send those forms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointed in a change in Turbo Tax for 2021 I have used turbo tax for years and I would highly recommend it due its simplicity. I was disappointed this year to learn there was a $25 fee to e-file my state return after already paying for the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax! I instead opted to print and mail it which was an added inconvenience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Things were great once I got the right expert My taxes were tricky this year due to unorthodox cryptocurrency transactions. I had to explain things to several people on the phone and still was originally paired with someone who was not knowledgable enough to handle my case. Eventually, I was switched to Carol and things went very smoothly. She was able to answer all of my questions and give guidance on how to handle the cryptocurrency transactions. She was also very prompt with her replies and was able to call me on very short notice.

My only complaint is how difficult it sometimes was to go back and see entries--had to once again go through several questions and answer again. In-person calls with experts were both very helpful. Both were friendly and personable.
