Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst experience I every had with Turbo Tax! First, I was given a lot of misinformation about my account in recovering my tax file. I was promised I would receive a full refund because of the misunderstanding and treatment given about my TurboTax account (which did not happen) and was told that I would receive a discount on the next year's tax turbo tax filing. But none of that happened. When I called back to find out what happened, I was given the run-a-round. I am very set about the way I was treated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hidden costs! Turbotax calculated and filed our taxes correctly, but did NOT warn us ahead of time that we would be charged $25 for filing our state taxes. Had we known, we wouldn't have bothered using it for state. But no, it waited until we had finished the entire process before saying we owed $25. Be aware of this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have no idea what I'm doing with my taxes And I doubt I ever will. I stopped using a personal account 8 years ago and have been using Turbo Tax ever since. There's never been one problem with... well... this year there was. Looks like there was some nonsense going on in my 2018 return, but I'm almost positive it was the fault of my employer and/or me. I added the expert option... whatever that's called... and had a great 15-min conversation with a young lady named Maria who laid out all my options quickly and in a way I could understand (because I understand very little when it comes to taxes in particular and money managing in general). I know this is a great product because I rarely think about it except for the day or two that I spend working out my return with it continually improving UI experience. Is it the best? Dunno! But if i have no complaints.... what's the difference?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made Filing so Fast and Easy Made Taxes so easy. I tried to use Turbo Tax on my own. I spent hours finding and entering information. I hired the CPA who did all the work. I just had to upload stuff and meet with her for a short amount of time online. The next thing I am about to say is a good thing - I ended up owing the same amount. I take this to mean that both I and the CPA did good work and that next time, I won't bother trying to do my taxes on my own. I'll save time and just use this service. I think that the difference in the cost for this service versus the cost of the TurboTax software is worth the 10-20 hours of time that I saved.
