I've seen so many ads in the last few weeks about how this whole thing is free. Evidently it is not. So, as long as you're ok with a bunch of hidden fees popping up at the very end, and a $40 processing fee, in addition to the $80 they'll have you pay to file your taxes, it's great!

I have found it takes a lot of the confusion out of filing, and uses a series of questions to lead you through gathering and entering the right data. I especially like the peace of mind with their accuracy and representation guarantee. If you ever had one of those letters from the IRS you know how valuable it is to have an expert in your corner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lol @ free Come into it expecting free filing...came out of it paying $120. $40 for federal (even though its just simple W-2) $40 for state (ok understandable since they charge to file state) $40 for the convenience of paying with my refund. However, when they had that little issue with the stimulus payments this year, they got it fixed very quickly which is why I use them year after year even though it's always the same.
