Rated 4 out of 5 by from Income / Covid19 Bug While in the income section, I selected "IRA withdrawn for Covid19 Disaster" on one IRA from which we did pull a large once-a-year payment in addition to the monthly scheduled withdrawals. I navigated through the checks, and found that we were not eligible. I went back and checked a more appropriate box, but the "Covid19 Disaster" selection persisted in the background, excluding a sizable amount of the overall annual withdrawal from income taxes, in error. After several hours with your capable chat help people, they suggested that I delete the IRA in question from the income block, and the add it (again) with the proper non-disaster category selected. The clunky workaround succeeded. I imagine a great many retirees like me will use the questions to establish eligibility, and if the final determination is that the client is not eligible, the exclusion may persist, and be missed. The retro elimination of the incorrect claim of the covid19 exclusion should be automatic.
