Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still good - a little glitchy TurboTax is still a helpful tool for preparing a tax return. Even some of the more complex activities go smoothly. There continue to be, though, some unnecessary steps for confirming entries (confirmation of numbers is good, confirmation of other entries does not appear to be necessary). Navigation is not always easy but, once you master using the Search function, TurboTax takes you right where you need to go.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Insanely expensive for a necessary evil Seems like big holes in the interview sequence leave you feeling helpless going forward. Pay me to be on your software team. I bet you either pay well or have a staff of indentured servants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s just okay.. Turbo tax is fine, but the different price jumps over the last few years just seem unnecessary. I don’t need all the extra features, so if I’m going to be paying for a tax service I might as well see someone in person and just talk to someone face to face. So this may be my last year filing with TurboTax.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Confusing and ripping off money from users I tried to pay for my mom's E-file with my credit card. I clicked on it and it did a weird thing. it took me back two steps and the screen read that my NJ refund was paid. I wanted to check how it was paid whether it was using last years credit card info or if it was taking the $40 cost out of the refund, which would not make sense since the refund was only $63. But the program had no option or step to redo the payment method. I used help to check the Turbotax website, and it had no entry on how to deal with the problem on the program, only on the phone app or online formats.
