Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the best way to file. I have filed with Turbo Tax for several years now, my taxes are always file correctly. My refund is always deposited into my account in a timely manner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Again Gets the Job done BUT when going through each return - every time you have to check the same boxes even though the form/file is saved. error check says federal and state forms are okay but when saving a pdf file program states there are errors which there was looking at individual forms Also, in step by step interview it does not ask some questions that then generate an error!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Love that people over 65 and over that is free and that it was easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to File The step by step process was extremely easy to follow and made my taxes easy to follow. However, it was annoying constantly being asked to upgrade my selection when I am already paying $140 to do my taxes myself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from An excruciating, bug-riddled, and outdated app I am a decades-long user of turbotax and turbotax self-employed, and used Turbotax Business for the first time this year after finally incorporating my business. I will never be using this software again, which is a shame because I already pay for your Quickbooks Online and Payroll services, as well as having a Mint and Turbo account. My first problem was being a Mac user, and so unable to use this software at all. So after securing a PC to borrow, I learned I could not import my EXPENSIVE quickbooks online data into Turbotax Business. So I download a trial of Quickbooks Desktop onto my borrowed PC. And then also download the migration tool, and have to ask your permission to allow me to export my business data. Cool. Finally, I'm able to begin my business return. But I notice my imported quickbooks data has errors. Comparing with my Quickbooks Online, I see that somehow one of my venders and over $10,000 of contractor expenses simply disappeared somehow on import into Quickbooks Desktop. Instead of continuing this excruciating process of trying to save time by importing my quickbooks, I manually enter the information by reading off my Quicbkooks Online. The PC I've borrowed meets all your system requirements, but Turbotax crashes on me three times during this process. Just freezes up and never comes back to life, or simply crashes completely with no error messages or anything. Fine. But this program is also riddled with errors and bugs. As an S-Corp I need to enter the salary I paid my officers (just me), but Turbotax won't allow me because the program believes I don't need to, having grossed less than $250,000 in sales. So I find the line in forms and manually change it. Fine. On doing my state return, I'm finally asked about the 2020 EIDL Advance business grants, and mark that I received a $1,000 grant that the state is counting as income. Then I close the program for a break, and return and have to pass this section again. The data is already saved for me, so I continue. On review I notice that my extra income is marked as $2,000, not $1,000. So I hit the review process, and once again go over that section confirming it only reads $1,000. But now my extra income is listed as $3,000. Fine. It seems like the program is adding an extra line every time I pass that section, so I go into forms and manually remove the extra lines. I used this program to try and save time and money using an accountant to file, as I've always personally prepared my tax returns. I will not make that mistake next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cannot e-file amended 1065. Had to amend a 1065. Cannot e-file the 1065x. Clicked on "File by mail" but what is the mailing address for the IRS service center?
