Rated 2 out of 5 by from Premier On Line edition over priced Price increase since in February 2023. No discount codes available for long term loyal customers. Software continues to say I have an investment in Kinder Morgan which I don't have Unable to delete. Haven't had this investment for over 5 years, but continues to pre populate return Snaky price increase and erroneous pre populating return described above will make me consider other software next year.,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Done! My tax situation is pretty simple, but since I only do it once a year, it gives me just enough time to forget what I learned the year before! I have started keeping copious notes, and that's helped, but I also rely on telephone calls with TT Experts to guide me through the bumpy bits. For years I struggled with how to print out returns for extreme scrutiny after paying but before filing, and I still don't understand why it's such a dance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Constant attempts to upsell and unresolved glitch 1. There were constant attempts to upsell to more expensive version of Turbo Tax. 2. There was a glitch in the reporting of income from Form 1099-NEC. It kept telling me to resolve a problem with 1099-NEC Box 1 Schedule C but there was no way to access Schedule C or resolve the issue. The program eventually allowed me to delete the worksheet that was causing the problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy tax service with hidden fees I have been using turbo tax for years and I love the software. This year was especially easier because they removed questions for simple tax returns. I had to remove one star for the lack of transparency regarding pricing. They said simple tax returns like mine would be free and then they never mentioned what could have potentially triggered the fee. Then, there was a surprise $60 fee to file state taxes. Overall, a simple return cost me $200 and I didn't find out until the end.
