This year my wife did not have a job and I bought the regular version. l guess because it was a different , it did not import any information from the other earlier turbo tax versions. I retyped all the info manually. I got an error after submission. I resubmitted four times. I proof read each copy . The last notice indicated that there was no tax information on me, although my ssn was correctly entered into the 1040 form.

Two sources of frustration: The interface for rents and royalties allowed selection of both rents and royalties for a single property. It took time to figure out what our error was. Also, the interface for identifying tax-exempt bonds did not allow us to apply a percentage of eligible bonds from a bond index fund, which prevented us from getting this deduction.
