Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gets more complicated each year & more hidden fees I had to really dig to get all my tax documents inputed properly this year compared to other (for my home and student loans). I also felt like I had less tax deduction options than previous for state and federal. I also am not impressed with the constant push to upgrade my account/filing process. Each time I get to the end I always end up paying more then I agreed to in previous screens and have no option to change at that point. One major example is paying my Turbo Tax fees via my federal tax refund...it cost me an extra $39. Not sure for what exactly. But I could and would have sent a check to save me the money. Last year I had to pay double for no apparent reason when I got to the end to file both state and federal together electronically. If I haven't already been using Turbo Tax for years and some what am familiar with it's process/website I wouldn't bother using it again for filing taxes.
