I have used Turbo tax for years but unfortunately I will not be using their service next year due to their raising prices and manipulative practices. I was almost complete with my return when I was forced to upgrade to deluxe for one simple form. It was a form I didn't usually use and only lowered my return anyways. I almost decided to file elsewhere, but instead gave the deluxe version a chance. However, the icing on the cake was at the end of the return when they charged me $39 just for paying it from my refund... making the total cost $39 for filing + $39 fee for paying from my return = $78 final cost for a simple return.
