Still better than doing it myself I guess I mean, I wish I could just upload forms as I get them, organically. and I wish the 1099-DIV code worked at all. like, it can read forms but whats the point if you have to correct it all the time? How come it can't take the address of a broker in Canada?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Error when trying to efile 2022 Business Tax form When trying to E-file Federal Business 1065 it checks the forms and say that the designation of partnership representative should not include the mailing address and name. When delete these it gives an error message indicating that this information is required. Putting the information back in the form and it does another check and indicates that the information is not needed. This error continues for about two years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brian, tax expert for 7 years is why its 5 stars I would have given 4 stars as I never usually give 5 cause there is always room for improvement. In this case I have to give all 5 stars, Brian, tax expert for 7 years really made the difference. I started the call confused and uncertain and ended the call with a smile. I hate not knowing something it eats at me, Brian was so very professional, polite, showed concern and care, was efficient and through, listened and explained clearly and made sure I didn't have any other questions before the call ended. I couldn't have asked for a better, more helpful expert of taxes, he even helped me with a general question on what I should claim so I don't end up having to pay taxes when I do my return. This year it was free to have an expert help till 3/15 and I used that, that's how I was able to speak to an expert as I would not have chosen to pay to do so. I would like to be able to tip the expert Brian expert 7years. I don't have his last name but he deserves a raise. if I knew how helpful he was gonna be I might have opted for paying for it but as it would have taken half my refund to pay normal price for expert help I'm very thankful for the discount of free 100% free filing and expert help to boot. Ill be back next year!! Also it was super easy to file as I filed with intuitive TurboTax last year so they had all the info I needed to add already ready to add I didn't need to import it or search for last years info.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Last year using TUrbo Tax Made me repeat entering the same information and in had me re-enter the same information twice so I had to delete it twice. They had me check 5 items and all items were accurate as I had entered them and did not require review. Constant prodding to upgrade and pay more was unwanted and delayed completion. Overall service fee is expensive as it is.
