It took me though all the steps and gave me peace of mind. Thanks for making this process easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love doing my taxes with Turbotax Turbo Tax has been my Tax Provider for 15 years. Always enjoy doing my taxes using this service. This year I had a few unusual situations and found the 1-800 connection to be the perfect solution to my problem. The Service Provider was able to log into my lap top and assist me in solving my problem. THANK YOU!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good software, but it is missing some key features Overall, the software is decent, and allows me to complete my taxes fairly efficiently. However, there are a number of missing features that I would like to see in the product: 1. There is no ability to import data directly from financial institutions. This requires me to use a spreadsheet to add up data from multiple 1099s, and then find the appropriate places to enter the information. Some of the information needs to be entered directly in forms. 2. There is no ability to import data directly from the Mac version of Quickbooks. This requires me to enter the information manually. 3. The error check feature isn't easy to use. Error messages are often cryptic, with no context for what section of the return it is referring to. I usually have to switch into forms mode, so that I can see specifically what the program is referencing. I also reached out to support regarding one of the errors that I was receiving. The person emailed me IRS instructions, but I found that the instructions did not answer my question. I ultimately posted a question to the forums, and somebody provided advice there, which I was able to use. Ideally, the software would have automatically inserted the number where it needed to go based on an interview question, instead of necessitating a support inquiry. Overall, TurboTax Business is not as user friendly as the consumer version of the software.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two frustrating years in a row Two years in a row I had issues with my Robinhood 1099-B. After submitting the form I was asked to review over 90 transactions because the system didn't recognize stock sales. Each stock sale takes a few minutes to review, which adds up. When I reached out to support they didn't know what to do. On one call with a support rep I was immediately put on hold because they said they needed to review last years case when I ran into the same issue. Why did they need to review last years case? I was on hold for 30min then they hung up! Intuit is a $117B company, you would think they knew how to pull in the Robinhood 1099-B. I've read forums and other people have run into the same issue. It's taken me an extra couple of hours to file my returns because of this issue (and going back and forth with support) two years in a row. Not sure I'll be using TurboTax in the future if they don't resolve this issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax should only be used for simple tax return Anytime TurboTax asks you to fill out a form directly, it is a failure. We purchase TurboTax to eliminate the need to fill-in forms and read form instructions. Last year of using TurboTax.
