Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way to throw on hidden fees at the end I did my entire return under the impression it would be $119. Then only at the VERY END to they throw on another $103 in fees. absolutely wonderful. I am now motivated to do my taxes myself and never use this service again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Days wasted 1) Figuring the overall return was fine but my income was very uneven this year and turbotax calculated a significant penalty based on the assumption that the income was spread out over the year. Mitigating this requires form 2210AI which calls for figuring three entire additional tax return three more times on 3/31, 5/31, and 8/31. Does turbotax use its powers to help with this task? No, figure it out yourself and put the final answer here. 2) I was given the option to enter the totals from a brokerage statement instead of entering every transaction. Sounded great until after I e-file, then it says OK now print out all this stuff and mail it in. I would have chosen differently if there was any warning that I'd be on the hook to print and ship the rest. 3) Washington has a capital gains tax now. Anything to help with that? Nope, had to do that myself too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is ok I am not happy. I think it is going to cost $69 then another charge to file state pops up and that is another $50. Other people are doing same taxes as me and are charged less. Might be easy but so are other tax prepare software.
