Rated 2 out of 5 by from good but could be so much better One example would be, being unable to see whether or not I was approved for the homestead credit was quite frustrating. Only after I paid was I able to review the forms to actually see I was getting it. Things like that should be more transparant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could not get a stright ansewer Had a question regarding capital loss carry forward, I wanted to carry 2021 loss forward to 2023 and not use any of the loss in 2022. After attempting several times to zero out the capital loss in the preparation stage of the return when I reviewed the return the amount was there (line 7 form 1040). I contacted "the community" with no luck, I requested a phone call, which I received promptly. I explained to the agent what I was trying to do, she walked me through several time doing exactly what I had done before with the same results. After she spoke to a supervisor and had me do the same thing again with the same results, here only suggestion was to upgrade to a professional tax expert for a additional charge of course, which I declined. I contacted the IRS and explained what I was trying to do, and in less than 5 minutes on the phone I got the answer I was looking for. Earned interest is considered capital gain, so prior years loss must be applied, come on you guys, you didn't know this. You may want to update your definition of Capital gain or loss to include interest income, would have saved me about 3 hrs. of my time. I've used Turbo Tax since 2000, only in the past 3 years have I used the online version, you no longer support the Apple OS I use, which is to bad. Needless to say when the 2023 1040 is due I have my doubts that I will be using your product again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from FRAUD Required to deduct from Fed CHARGE$$ more TT would not allow me to charge fee on my credit card so I had to deduct from refund and they charged an ADDITIONAL $39! I'll find a different source next year.
