Rated 1 out of 5 by from never a dry eye in the house TurboTax is 45% annoying, unnecessary animations, 45% incessant attempts to get you to pay for an upgraded version, and 10% actual useful process. I shed a lot of tears every single time out of pure frustration and despair. During the many attempts to get me to pay for an upgrade, there are buttons apparently to decline the offer to upgrade, but without saying that, or any context, they just say 'No Thanks', which is how you choose to stay with the filing you are already part way through. TurboTax unashamedly tries to pester you into paying for upgrades by wearing down your will to live. Congratulations.
