Rated 1 out of 5 by from Liars until it was too late to go somewhere else they offered me free-file until halfway through; I was surprised that I didn't qualify even though my income was below the poverty level. They charged me almost $200 to file. I only owed the IRS $389. that's over half my tax burden to prepare and file my taxes. and they were filed late because I had to save up the funds to pay their extortionist prices. such a disgrace knowing this company lobbied Congress to prevent the IRS from making their own free-file website.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Felt cheated & taken advantage of this time around So I begun to do the taxes like every year prior. This time they offer early in the game a new version upgrade. I figured: 1. It'll give me some additional options as I file, and 2. If not seeing much difference from the previous grade of TurboTax, I'd still have a chance to simply change to the lower option. Neither occurred- Only difference was it offered for a tax professional to do taxes. All else was same, and if I wanted to downgrade version, it would ERASE what I had done and make me start all over. :/ Only saving grace has been the talking to a live person during my e-file rejections, but again, Believe that was always an option on previous level version.
