I reached out 4 times. my first interaction was very productive. the first assistant was helpful and forwarded me to the tax expert who was incredibly helpful in directing me to deductions. the second interaction the assistant was barely awake and put me on hold and never came back. the third time it was silence. the fourth time the assitant was very helpful but the live assist for the tax expert never called me back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its alright... The site seems fairly easy to use but you guys charge more than my typical tax person whom I waited to long to reach out to. Honestly this was my first time doing my taxes my self. I'm sure y'all are cheaper than H&R Block with all the fees they charge for forms but still...this was too pricy. Had the price been better, 5 stars but because of the price along with another 40 service fee; I don't think it's worth it. Unless you're getting back a BIG return and the charge won't affect you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Surprisingly malicious My whole experience was very nice up until the end. Right before I filed, I was told I HAD to upgrade from an originally proposed price of $60 to $130 for selling particular investments which I definitely hadn't done. It was a very frustrating experience. And, for that to happen after working on this for 3 hours and being told I had to do that or I couldn't file at all was very upsetting. I felt personally tricked. Plus, all of a sudden a state filing fee was an extra $40 dollars, which was not clearly indicated at the beginning of the process. I believe Turbotax does this intentionally, because I ended up paying since I didn't want to spend the extra 3 hours redoing my taxes. There is no way this wasn't foreseen, which is very disappointing and I don't believe I will use it again as they have completely lost my trust.
