Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax is unnecessarily unwieldy and confusing. Every Year the tax code changes, and more stuff gets added to the federal returns. But with TurboTax, everyone has to use the 1040 long form, even though some of my family could use the old EZ form. It's actually easier to write up a simple return than go thru the long TurboTax version of the 1040. And for complicated returns, too much unexplained stuff is going on in the background that most people don't understand. Takes too long to do, and one still doesn't really know if things have been done right. Too Complicated!
