Rated 1 out of 5 by John Farmer from I am furious I paid $130 for the premier version of Turbo. In the end I was unable to file electronically. You blame the IRS. I do not care. You have failed. I cannot satisfy the IRS that I deserve help, since my camera has a bad lens. I am trembling with rage as I print these returns off, knowing that for some reason I will get them back in the mail. I finished these returns a month ago.

This is ridiculous. TT is supposed to make our lives easier. TT keeps raising their prices and delivering less. They provide very little information on why they are asking certain questions and how it changes taxes. If you have any unusual situations it is extremely hard to figure out how to use Turbo Tax. I will be looking into hiring a professional next year.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
