Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the sloth of tax preparation software While the ultimate tax return turned out correctly, the process was AWFUL! The program buffered constantly and timed out several times causing me to have to start all over. It was a nightmare!! What should have taken approximately 3 hours to complete took a full 8 hours! I looked into our wifi and that was not the issue. The program was the cause of the terrible sluggish performance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Live assistant was great but sneaky on fees I am grateful for the easy step by step process. I appreciated Stephanie C. my live assistant, she was kind and helpful. I did not appreciate the additional charge at the end. I work all year long and finally get a little relief with my refund only to have more money deducted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax changed my expense data ON ITS OWN I had my returns all checked and ready to send. Printed a copy of them during the "review and file" process. Completed the process and noticed that my refund had changed! Went back and reviewed what was showing and found that expenses for some properties had been CHANGED BY TURBOTAX with no action from me (I was in the "file" process of the program). This is not OK and now forces me to file an amendment even though I never changed the numbers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax Saved My Butt I'll admit, I waited until the last minute to start filing my taxes. This was an especially unwise idea because I added two sources of self-employment income with many deductions to enter...and the day before I was flying out-of-state for several days. Thankfully, TurboTax made it surprisingly easy to import tax info from last year, found tax credits I didn't know existed, and made what would have been a very painful process less painful. I was very pleased to get a decent refund after all was said and done, too. Very grateful!
