Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wouldn't run in my Win10 environment TT still a very helpful tool, but: 1) After running cd version of TT Premier on my Dell Win10 laptop since 2016, I couldn't get it to install from cd, from fresh download using same auth code, or from new download with new auth code provided by very helpful help desk person; 2) I had to go back during review and answer about 10 details regarding the 1 rental property I own that TT did not walk me through during interview; and 3) the full amount of a small pension I have was populated into "state income tax withheld", which I discovered during state review. The last item could have been my mistake, but I thought I was careful and experienced enough to have not done that. I will use TT again, and hope to use it on my own computer instead of having to move files and file from my wife's PC. Not being able to run on a current software version of Win10 is a big deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from PRETTY BAD YOUR PROGRAM HAS BECOME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. YOUR EARLIER EDITIONS WERE MUCH EASIER TO NAVIGATE. I MAY CONSIDER AN ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE FOR MY NEXT YEARS FILING.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2021 Turbo Tax Return This was a 1st time experience using TurboTax. Moderate success with online program. Would like to see schedules similar to 1040 used by tax professionals when working up Income & Expense. Overall great experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just wanted the standard deduction If there could have been a way to take the standard deductions and move on. Did I really have to go through the deduction questions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great support I have used turbo tax for years. This year I accidently purchased the download instead of the online one. Ran into a major problem pulling it up but after finally getting ahold of the support person, she walked me through exactly what I needed to do! Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE BEST I use Turbo Tax for my business for more than 20 years and every year is better. Easy to work with it and friendly environment

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax can be much better and sophisticated I have been using Turbo TAx for more than 20 years to file my taxes, only using other services in between for 2-3 years. My experience has been good most of the time, but recently faced challenges especially when my retrurns start becoming complicated. For the first time, I have spoken to an expert today for help with my tax filing which included Mark-To-Market trading and I am very pleaseed with the professionalism and helpfulness by Stephen. Below are some drawbacks of Turbotax. 1. Mark-To-Market trading (Form 4797) entry is very hard. I wish you can import the data from brokerages into form 4797 similar to schedule D. 2. The import of information from prior years doesn't work very well and mostly not automatic. 3. When I go by updating by selecting sections, the information stored and saved is asked again when going through previous sections and continue. Should be able to avoid this by some software updates. 4. There are hiccups with import of some data representation like Schedule K1, Box 17 V, real estate QSM numbers etc. Expert help may be needed to fix. 5. Overall cost of going with a tax service provider ight be cheaper than Turbotax when all costs are taken into account. 6. Intuit should make at least 1 state filing free to avoid too many trips to payments.
