Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple & Elegant I been using turbo tax for last 4 years and I felt that Turbo Tax is simple to use and guides me with the entire process and also makes me understand on what all I am declaring. Its 100% automated solution for easy tax filings. I really love it filing my taxes using turbo tax because of its UI, information on each step and guidance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Online platform great / CPA didn't keep his word I like the online platform, including the ability to get help. The import from broker functionality I can't recommend if you have many transactions. It's causing a lot of additional troubles down the track. What I really disliked this year is that I wanted to get a CPA to do the taxes for me. We had a call and I made clear that I need my taxes filed before the April deadline. The CPA assured me that he will keep that deadline, and start on it the next week. He kept pushing the timeline and after I already gathered my funds for paying the tax in my checking account, announced that I need to file for an extension. I ended up doing the taxes myself!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax left me high and dry -- very disappointin TurboTax didn't file my review as I had paid them to do. Three different agents left the company and I had to reach out multiple times to get anyone to answer. Then I was told that I needed to pay more (twice!) to get my (extended) return filed. Then they found out TurboTax did my return incorrectly last year -- and I needed to pay more to get that fixed. And then I was offered a 20% discount for the trouble -- but the coupon wasn't applied at check-out, and I am now trying to figure out how to get my refund. Used TurboTax for the past 5 years -- this time is the last.
