Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review of 2022 Turbo Tax filing Appeared to me that 2022 Turbo Tax is slower loading and updating than prior versions. Difficulty in loading the property tax for multiple residences. Had to add as a single entry. Initial software did not consider the issue of California 1099-M for Middle Class as non-taxable until an early March update. Fed ruled on this in early Feb that the funds were not taxable. Update ultimately handled it properly. I have used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years and will probably continue but found these issues annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from turbo tax is easy to use was frusterated with adding 1099 extra income forms foe frontline worker pay. it was confusing and hard to navigate. then part way through was prompted to pay more fees just to add this one form, which i was not even aware was a thing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from had a few issues We left CA and moved to TN and the sale of our home happenned 4 days into 2022, so we had to file as a non-resident on CA taxes and report the sale of the home. That wasn't easy to do but figured it out and filed. Then, turbotax wanted me to pay $45 to see what my taxes are for TN - problem is I owe nothing for TN taxes, so they just wanted my $45. Sorry - too smart for that! But it proves they aren't out for our interests.
