Tried your Help line, and it was worthless. Failed to answer that question. Also, I had some accounts that I have had income/expense inputs in all past TurboTax filing, but this program failed to show all of them from 2021. It showed some but not all. Almost missed inputting that data until I reviewed my 2021 return line by line with my 2022 return. Unacceptable.

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free with TurboTax Free Edition or TurboTax Live Assisted Basic. You can also file with TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
